Maserati is currently working on mid-cycle updates for the GranTurismo and GranCabrio. Recent spy shots reveal that the 2027 models will feature a larger front grille and redesigned side air intakes to improve brake cooling efficiency. The rear diffuser of the all-electric GranCabrio Folgore remains heavily camouflaged, while the gasoline-powered GranTurismo Trofeo debuts transparent taillights. Due to budget constraints, interior changes are expected to be minimal—possibly limited to new material options or minor equipment adjustments. The current-generation models were launched in 2022 (GranTurismo) and 2024 (GranCabrio), with production having shifted from Turin to Modena. Facing sluggish sales of just 7,900 units in 2025—trailing behind Ferrari—Maserati hopes these updates will revitalize its market performance, though previous efforts through bespoke programs and special editions have yielded limited results. It remains unclear whether the enhanced exhaust system will be standard equipment.
