The battery can charge from 10% to 70% in just 5 minutes and reach 97% in only 9 minutes—setting a new global record for the fastest charging speed among mass-produced batteries. Energy density has been increased by 5%, and the regenerative braking strategy has been optimized; charging automatically stops at 97% to ensure an optimal user experience. In terms of safety, after undergoing 500 flash-charging cycles, the battery showed no fire, smoke, or explosion within two hours during an extreme "charging-while-punctured" test. Its underbody impact resistance reaches 1,500 joules—ten times the national standard—far exceeding regulatory requirements. Additionally, BYD offers a warranty of 6 years or 150,000 kilometers. If the battery’s capacity retention falls below 77.5%, it will be replaced free of charge, representing a 2.5% improvement in overall warranty capacity retention.
