On March 18, at the IM Motors Super AI Agent Launch Event, IM Motors announced a partnership with Qwen, the world-leading open-source large language model. The company revealed that its new LS8 model will be the first mass-produced vehicle to feature the Qwen large model. Xiang Jiao, CTO of IM Motors and Head of its Intelligent Research Institute, stated that the company chose Qwen because “if we’re going to adopt a large model, it has to be the world’s best.” Through this collaboration, Qwen will be deeply integrated into IM Motors’ self-developed AIOS intelligent cockpit system, jointly creating a next-generation in-car AI experience and significantly enhancing the intelligence of human-vehicle interaction.
