On March 23, Deng Chenghao, Chairman of Deepal Auto, revealed that the new energy vehicle (NEV) market is experiencing a full recovery. Domestic orders in March are highly likely to exceed 2,000 units, and global sales continue to grow steadily, with deliveries this month expected to surpass 30,000 units again. He emphasized that, against the current backdrop of high oil prices, NEVs offer a clear cost advantage, and their market penetration rate will reach a record high this year. Currently, the Deepal S07 and L07 models are performing steadily, while the S05 is selling strongly. Orders for the L06 are rising month by month, driven by its advantages in design, intelligent driving capabilities, and range. The company aims to achieve monthly sales exceeding 10,000 units within the next two to three months and will soon roll out a new intelligent driving software update to enhance user experience. Additionally, Deepal will launch two new models next week: the six-seat extended-range SUV S09 with a pure electric range of 310 km, and the four-wheel-drive, rugged extended-range SUV G318—both priced competitively. Meanwhile, Deepal’s Yuanli Ultra Integrated Electric Drive system is about to reach its one-millionth unit off the production line, and the company will host a live-streamed technical deep-dive event to mark the milestone.
