German prosecutors have officially dropped their investigation into Tesla over allegations of illegal recording. Earlier this year, in February, Tesla filed a criminal complaint accusing a member of Germany's metalworkers' union (IG Metall) of secretly recording a works council meeting at its factory near Berlin using a laptop. The incident occurred during intense disputes between the two sides over unionization efforts at the plant. Tesla claimed the recording violated the meeting's confidentiality rules, but after an investigation, German authorities decided not to pursue the case further.
