smart has unveiled interior sketches of its first premium hatchback sedan, the #6 EHD, stating that the design is "rooted in Mercedes-Benz luxury DNA." The sketches highlight three key design elements: retractable speakers, aircraft turbine-inspired motifs, and houndstooth patterns. Developed exclusively for the Chinese market, this model is the largest vehicle in smart's history, measuring 4,906 mm in length, 1,922 mm in width, and 1,508 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,926 mm. The vehicle will be powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged plug-in hybrid system, featuring an engine with a maximum output of 120 kW and offering up to 285 km of all-electric range under CLTC conditions. Official images of the car in blue have been released, and the global debut is scheduled for the 2026 Beijing International Automotive Exhibition.
