Powering the WenDao V9 is Huawei’s “Snowy Owl” intelligent silent-range extended system, combining a 1.5T range extender with a 227 kW electric motor delivering peak torque of 320 N·m. All variants are equipped with CATL batteries, available in two chemistries: LFP (lithium iron phosphate) and NMC (nickel manganese cobalt). The LFP version offers 216 km of pure electric range and a combined range of 1,250 km, while the NMC version provides 310 km of pure electric range and a combined range of 1,330 km. The suspension system consists of a front double-wishbone and rear five-link fully aluminum setup. The top-trim model features a magnetorheological adaptive damping chassis with a minimum turning radius of just 5.7 meters. Inside, the cabin adopts an enveloping layout, standard with an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen. Higher trims are powered by either the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8155 or 8775 chipsets, and offer an optional 21.4-inch rear entertainment screen. The second-row seats support 124° recline, 16-point massage, ventilation, and heating functions, and include an 11-liter onboard refrigerator with both cooling and heating capabilities. All third-row seats come with heating functionality. For intelligent driving, the vehicle is equipped with the Yuanjing intelligent driver-assistance system, supporting urban and highway NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) across all scenarios. Features include traffic light recognition and automatic stop/go, cut-in detection and avoidance, unprotected left turns, roundabout navigation, and full-scenario automated parking—including perpendicular, parallel, and diagonal parking.
