On May 24, Fangchengbao announced the launch of a new interior color option—Chisha Red—for the Bao 5 Flash Charge Edition, available as an upgrade for RMB 5,000, with a limited-time discount of RMB 2,000, bringing the actual upgrade price down to RMB 3,000. The model was first launched on May 13, with a limited-time starting price of RMB 299,800 for early reservations. The Bao 5 Flash Charge Edition is equipped with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery, flash charging technology, and the Yunniu-P Ultra intelligent hydraulic body control system for all-scenario driving. It offers five exterior colors and three interior color schemes. The vehicle features AUX ports that support connecting professional spotlights, walkie-talkies, air compressors, and other accessories—all controllable via one-touch operation inside the cabin through the PAD interface. The vehicle integrates four core wheel-lifting technologies: a maximum ground clearance of 300 mm; continuous wheel-lifting operation exceeding 24 hours per cycle; independent lifting capability for all four wheels; and dual-control support via both the in-car infotainment system and smartphone app. The wheel-lifting function supports three full-condition scenarios: wheel-lift recovery from off-road entrapment, elevated tire changes, and tripod-mode driving. Exterior design maintains Fangchengbao’s signature boxy silhouette and sculpted lines. The vehicle measures 4,880 mm in length, 1,970 mm in width, and 1,920 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,800 mm. Power comes from a 1.5T engine paired with front and rear dual motors in an all-wheel-drive configuration, delivering a combined output of 505 kW and peak torque of 760 N·m. It achieves a CLTC pure-electric range of 210 km and a total combined range of 1,310 km.
