Recently, the first spy photos of the XPeng MONA series station wagon have been revealed. According to insiders, this model is an active development project at XPeng Motors but will not be launched this year. The spy shots show that the vehicle features a classic station wagon silhouette, with a straight roofline extending from the B-pillar rearward and a slightly sloping rear end. Its side profile is clean and minimalist, integrating flush door handles seamlessly into the character line to reduce aerodynamic drag. At the rear, it adopts the same signature taillight design as the MONA L03, featuring horizontally oriented light clusters that stretch toward both sides of the body. A large rear spoiler sits atop, incorporating a high-mounted brake light, resulting in a full yet understated overall appearance. Since the launch of its first sedan, the M03, in 2024, the XPeng MONA series has delivered over 250,000 units and has ranked as the best-selling all-electric sedan in the RMB 100,000–200,000 price segment for 18 consecutive months. Priced between RMB 119,800 and RMB 155,800, the M03 primarily targets younger consumers. The 2026 model year version will be equipped with a high-performance computing platform delivering 750 TOPS and offered at an even more competitive price point. Currently, the MONA family continues to expand its product lineup: besides the station wagon, XPeng plans to introduce its first fastback SUV, the L03, in 2026, while the third model, the L05, has already been registered with China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT).
