Upon discovering the issue, the developers swiftly disabled the mode, and no timeline for its return has been announced yet. As compensation, all players will receive a 2021 McLaren Sabre once "King of the Elimination" is restored. The car can be claimed via the "Gifts" tab in the in-game Message Center, though the exact distribution date has not been disclosed. Regarding the exploit, the developers stated that since the issue originated from their end, they will not impose harsh penalties on affected players. Instead, accounts confirmed to have exploited the glitch will have their in-game credit cap reset to 10 million. Some players have reported that even those who did not actively exploit the bug had their credits reduced to this limit, but the developers have not yet confirmed whether this measure applies universally to all participants in the mode.
