On July 27, Xiaomi released a video showcasing the interior space design of its new vehicle, the Pengcheng. The car features a flat floor and a boxy layout, equipped with an extra-long sliding rail. The first-row seats can rotate, and a freestanding small table can be placed between the first and second rows, creating a “living room”-style configuration. The center console armrest slides rearward and, combined with a table accessory inserted into the cup holders, forms a “bar counter.” Even with all three rows of seats in use, the cabin can still accommodate at least seven suitcases (exact dimensions undisclosed). The Xiaomi Pengcheng is the second vehicle series launched by Xiaomi Auto, positioned as a smart, adaptable large-space SUV. The new model in this series, the N90, is a large three-row SUV measuring 5.28 meters in length. According to the company, its spacious interior can comfortably seat seven passengers each over 1.85 meters tall, while still offering room for seven suitcases even when fully occupied. Xiaomi will hold a technology launch event on July 30 at 7 p.m., focusing on the “Xiaomi Kunlun Technology Architecture,” which includes the Xiaomi Kunlun Platform, Xiaomi Kunlun Super Range Extender, and Xiaomi Kunlun All-Domain Safety systems.
