Domestic Auto Imitation Show in the first half year, BAIC Changhe Q7 ranked the top

From:Internet Info Agency 2018-08-29 20:33:38

It is embarrassed to say, but we have to admit that the start-up of many domestic industries is always accompanied by “knock-off”. Whether it’s the “NOKLA” mobile phone, “NIRE”, “ADIBAS” sneakers and even BAIDU, it’s an important history of “knock-off” culture. As one of the pillars of the domestic civil industries, the automobile industry also has a history with “knock-off”. The nick name of “tape measure department” is always mixed with the feeling of helplessness.

Nowadays this kind of “knock-off” imitation show has not disappeared yet. IIA has listed five imitation talents among those new launching vehicles of independent brands in the first half year. They have more or less learnt some exterior designs from the imported car and JV cars, even some domestic brands were included as well. Making this list, more is to expect that the independent brands could have their own designs and styles and the domestic automotive industry could go further.

TOP 5 Traum Meet 3——Similarity: ★★★☆

It is not difficult to find that Traum Meet3’s front grille, headlights and even the design of its hood lines are very similar to the Mercedes-Benz GLA, not to mention the taillights and chrome trim.

TOP 4:Leopard Mattu——Similarity: ★★★☆

The design of the front grille of Leopard Mattu imitates the design of Maserati Levante. Its dashboard, integrated center console screen and the buttons below are learnt from Mercedes-Benz S-Class. And the funniest is the design of its A/C vents, multimedia knobs and the surroundings come from Audi.

TOP 3:Changan EADO——Similarity: ★★★★

The grille design of “Lexus” family appeared on the RAETON CC for the first time. As the first new model launching in the first half year, EADO continues to use this design. In terms of tail design, it’s easy to find the design elements of Lexus GS in EADO.

TOP 2:YEMA T80——Similarity: ★★★★☆

Believe your eyes, these are two different models. Unluckily YEMA T80 imitated HAVAL. HAVAL owns a lot of models, for example, Haval H6 2018 Blue Label version. It’s up to you whether it’s a knock-off.

TOP 1:BAIC CHANGHE Q7——Similarity: ★★★★★

Although it is called CHANGHE Q7, apart from its design of the distribution of multimedia knobs copies Audi’s, more elements of this car are pretty the same as Range Rover’s “accidentally”, from the front end to the body contour, and then to the tail design. “Buy one CHANGHE, Get a Land Rover” can become reality.

End: In the early years, imitation is a pretty easy way to acquire some effective results. However, the consistent imitation is no longer going to make progress in the current Chinese automobile market any more. It’s like quenching thirsty with poison. In fact, some Japanese auto manufacturers such as Toyota have had the experience of “knock-off” as well. And by far, many Japanese brands have achieved great success in the world. It could be learnt that improving the ability of indepentent R&D is all that matters in the process of development. And all the auto manufacturers need to pay attention to that.
