Audi’s Voggenreiter returns to his former firm as senior advisor

Last year, after a large-scale of shuffling cards of Audi management team, Dietmar Voggenreiter, former member of the Board of Management of AUDI AG for Sales and Marketing, officially resigned from Audi. Recently, IIA learned that Dietmar Voggenreiter will work as a Senior Advisor for a German consulting firm named Horváth & Partners, which was his former employer, and will be responsible for management consulting in the automotive industry.

As a car expert with 16 years of experience in automotive sales management, Dietmar Voggenreiter had been previously serving as a member of the global board of directors of Audi who is responsible for global marketing and sales. During his tenure as president of Audi China in 2007 to 2015, he guided the establishment and development of Audi’s Chinese business. During this nearly nine-year working experience, the annual delivery volume of Audi in the Chinese market has increased sevenfold, further consolidating Audi's leading position in the Chinese luxury car market.

In fact, the move of Dietmar Voggenreiter 's this time is equivalent to returning to his roots. As early as 1997 to 2001, he worked for this consulting company. A considerable part of the management consulting business aimed at car customers, and the car information business was also established under his impetus.
