Dongfeng Peugeot Citroen Automobile (DPCA) Co., Ltd. is one of the oldest automobile joint ventures in China. It owns two brands, Dongfeng Peugeot and Dongfeng Citroen. In the context of the market downturn, in the first four months of 2019, DPCA sold a total of 44,201 new cars, a significant drop of 59.61% compared with the sales of 109,000 in the same period last year. The performance in the same month was also not good. In April, a total of 9,543 new cars were sold, a decrease of 65.28% compared with 27,482 vehicles last year. Such sales performance, DPCA should indeed take the initiative to change, in order to ensure future development.
