WEY VV7 GT PHEV unveiled

The WEY VV7 GT PHEV, which is based on a gasoline version, is positioned as a coupe SUV. IIA learned from Great Wall Motor that the WEY VV7 GT plug-in hybrid version was officially unveiled. The appearance of the new car has strong coupe features, and the crystal diamond dot matrix grille at the front-end is matched with the sturdy front bumper, which gives the overall a visual impact. In terms of power, the VV7 GT PHEV is equipped with a power system consisting of a 2.0T engine and an electric motor, offering it a 70 km cruising range under the electric mode.

The VV7 GT PHEV’s grille features a black honeycomb design with LED daytime running lights on both sides, making the front-end shape more angular and recognizable. The slightly elevated waistline on both sides of the new car run through to penetrate the taillights, adding a sense of strength to the car.

The tail is clearly layered, with a centrally convex design that blends with the blackened LED taillights on both sides. At the same time, the bottom guard is in black, which is different from the body color, matched with the dual-sided four-exhaust rounded silvery pipe, making the car look more muscular.

The interior is decorated with a large number of leather and wood materials. The three-spoke steering wheel is wrapped in leather with multi-function buttons on both sides and shift paddles underneath. The large-size display in the center console area is particularly eye-catching, integrating intelligent systems such as AI facial recognition and fatigue monitoring and warning.

In terms of power, the VV7 GT PHEV is powered by a 2.0T engine and an electric motor, with a maximum power of 165 kW and a peak torque of 385 Nm. In addition, the car battery pack capacity is 17.7kWh, offering the car a 70 km cruising range under the electric mode.
