Chery tops provincial patent list for six times

Recently, the Anhui Provincial Administration of Market Regulatory (Intellectual Property Office), the Anhui Provincial Department of Economics and Information Technology, and the Anhui Provincial Education Department jointly released the "2019 Anhui Top 100 List of Invention Patents". Chery Group has five member companies selected. Among them, Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. topped the list for 6 consecutive years.

In the past year of 2019, Chery Group started the public road test of "Chery Lion" in North America, becoming the 65th company in the world to obtain a California autonomous vehicle test license. The 1.6TGDI hybrid special engine independently developed by Chery has an effective thermal efficiency of 41%, ranking the world's advanced level. The third-generation ACTECO 1.6TGDI engine was selected as the "Top 10 Engines of China Heart 2019". Arrizo GX equipped with CVT25 was awarded "World’s Top Ten Transmission Models ".

Statistics show that as of the end of 2019, Chery Group has applied for a total of 18,455 patents and obtained 11,933 authorized patents, including 3,540 invention patents, accounting for 30% of authorized patents. In addition to being ranked first in the top 100 invention patents in Anhui Province for six consecutive years, Chery's comprehensive patent index in the field of intelligent networking in the ranking of "2019 Automotive Patent Innovation Index" released by China Automobile Technology and Research Center Co., Ltd. ranks among the top 20 in the world, and ranks first among independent brand auto companies.
