It is reported that the plant has produced a total of 50,401 Volkswagen e-Golf vehicles since March 2017. In the previous seven years, a total of 145,561 Volkswagen e-Golfs were produced in the Wolfsburg and Dresden plants.
Affected by COVID-19, Volkswagen ID.3 failed to go on the market as scheduled. The person in charge of Volkswagen’s Dresden plant said: “We are the second European manufacturer of vehicles based on a new modular electronic drive system after the Zwickau plant.
