On January 10, Chery Automobile officially launched the 2026 model year eQ1 ("Ant"), offering two variants with an official manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) ranging from RMB 54,900 to RMB 60,900. With the addition of government scrappage subsidies, the starting price drops to just RMB 42,600–RMB 47,200. As an annual facelift model, the new eQ1 features comprehensive upgrades in exterior design, interior styling, and driving range. The front and rear bumpers have been refined, complemented by newly designed multi-spoke alloy wheels. Inside, the cabin debuts a fresh color scheme and is equipped with a 10.4-inch central touchscreen and remote control functionality via a smartphone app. Powering the vehicle is a 36 kW electric motor, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 271 km—sufficient for daily commuting needs.
