Lexus achieved its best-ever sales performance in 2025, delivering 882,231 vehicles globally—a 4% year-over-year increase. The North American market was the largest contributor, with sales reaching 408,070 units, up 7.5%. Sales in Europe saw a slight decline of 2.3%, while Africa and Central & South America posted significant gains of 18.8% and 13.8%, respectively. Electrification emerged as a key growth driver, with hybrid, plug-in hybrid, and battery-electric models together accounting for 52% of total sales. Battery-electric vehicle (BEV) sales surged by 119%, led primarily by the RZ and UX300e models. Other popular models included the compact LBX SUV, the LM MPV, and core RX and NX series. Meanwhile, Lexus is redefining its brand direction: production of the iconic LS sedan will cease, and the "LS" nameplate may evolve into a new family of vehicles encompassing unconventional forms such as a six-wheel MPV and a rear-hinged-door coupe SUV. Although parent company Toyota is pushing for transformation, SUVs will remain the sales backbone, helping Lexus advance toward its goal of one million annual sales.
