During the 2026 Beijing Auto Show, Volcano Engine unveiled its next-generation automotive AI solution based on an Agentic AI architecture, comprising the AI Cockpit Suite and the Dobby Cockpit Assistant. This solution adopts a fully end-to-end AI cockpit architecture, replacing the traditional “intent-domain segmentation + multi-agent collaboration” voice assistant model. It integrates vehicle control, intelligent driving, navigation, and cockpit functions through a single AI brain, enabling a unified closed-loop system for perception, reasoning, execution, memory, and learning. The AI Cockpit Suite upgrades the already mass-produced Dobby large-model-powered smart cockpit with an Agentic architecture, offering automakers flexible, on-demand configurations. It can provide foundational large-model capabilities, three core engines (Interaction Agent, Tool Agent, and Ecosystem Agent), or a complete AI brain, along with an optional dedicated operations platform for task configuration and agent management. The Dobby Cockpit Assistant is a product-ready solution featuring seamless whole-vehicle integration and interoperability with the Dobby mobile app, enabling synchronized evolution across devices. Mass production and vehicle deployment are scheduled for completion within 2026. Volcano Engine has already established partnerships with all major automakers. Smart vehicles powered by the Dobby large model have surpassed 7 million units in cumulative deliveries, spanning over 50 brands and 145 models, and completing more than 30 million cockpit interactions and service loops daily. At this year’s auto show, multiple new models featuring this AI solution made their debut, including the Mercedes-Benz all-electric GLC, SAIC Audi E7X, SAIC Volkswagen ID. ERA 9X, Chery Exeed EX7, FAW Hongqi HS6 PHEV, Buick ZhiJing E7, and Roewe “Jia Yue.”
