GASGO Auto CEO Zhou Xiaoying Attends Jiading District's 2026 National Disability Assistance Day Event

On the afternoon of May 13, 2026, the Jiading District National Disability Assistance Day themed event “Technology Empowering Persons with Disabilities, Sharing a Better Life” was held at Sunshine Plaza, the Jiading District Comprehensive Activity Center for Persons with Disabilities. Ms. Zhou Xiaoying, CEO of Gasgoo Automotive, was invited to attend the event, where she toured exhibitions showcasing technology-enabled disability assistance applications and the science popularization base for persons with disabilities. She also experienced on-site demonstrations of smart assistive devices and other technological achievements in areas including intelligent rehabilitation, assistive technologies, and barrier-free environments. Organized by the Jiading District Federation of Persons with Disabilities, the event centered on themes such as “Technology + Experience,” “Technology + Stories,” and “Technology + Philanthropy,” presenting practical outcomes of how technology empowers the disability sector through technology showcases, case studies, and the launch of public welfare initiatives. During the event, the 2026 Jiading District Micro Public Welfare Projects for Disability Assistance were unveiled, the “Six Support Services for Persons with Disabilities” initiative was launched at “My Jiading · Neighborhood Centers,” and the Jiading District Community Rehabilitation Base for Children with Special Needs was officially inaugurated. A symposium on technology-enabled disability assistance was also convened during the event, bringing together representatives from the Shanghai Disabled Persons’ Federation’s Rehabilitation Department, Jiading District Science and Technology Commission, Jiading District Association for Science and Technology, Jiading District Investment Promotion Center, local economic development zones, and relevant enterprises. Participants exchanged insights on topics including the development of the assistive technology industry, medical device policies, application of assistive devices, and industrial collaboration. Previously, Gasgoo Automotive had participated in related charitable donations to support the construction of technology-enabled disability assistance projects.
