BYD Yuan PLUS Gen 3 Unveils Six New Colors, Launching May 21

On May 13, BYD unveiled six new color options for the third-generation Yuan PLUS: Dreamy Pink, Playful Blue, Aura Green, Serene Cyan, Sky White, and Line Gray. The model will officially launch on May 21 and made its debut at the 2024 Beijing Auto Show. The new vehicle continues BYD’s "Dragon Face" design language, featuring semi-recessed door handles and a full-width taillight with a wave-like lighting effect. Inside, it offers a larger central touchscreen, a two-spoke steering wheel, a column-mounted gear shifter, a wireless charging pad, and select physical buttons. Interior options include Misty Rain Gray trim, a 16-speaker audio system, and a refrigerated/warmed center console storage compartment. The vehicle measures 4,665 mm in length, 1,895 mm in width, and 1,675 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,770 mm. Power comes from BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery paired with flash-charging technology, delivering a maximum output of 240 kW from the rear-mounted motor and a CLTC-rated range of up to 630 kilometers. It is equipped with BYD’s Yunni-C intelligent damping suspension system, the "God’s Eye B" advanced driver-assistance system, seven airbags throughout the cabin, TBC (Tire Blow-out Control) stability management, and 39 storage compartments.
