FAW’s all-new B+ segment new energy sedan, the Yueyi 08, will roll off the production line on May 15 and is scheduled to launch in the middle of this year. On May 14, the automaker officially released interior images of the vehicle. The cabin features a minimalist, homely design language, equipped with a 15.6-inch central touchscreen and an 8.8-inch digital instrument cluster. Powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295 chip, it runs FAW’s proprietary Ruyi Cockpit system and offers amenities such as dual cup holders and wireless smartphone charging. The cockpit adopts an asymmetrical wrap-around layout: the driver’s area draws inspiration from aircraft cockpits, while the front passenger zone emphasizes comfort and a sense of occasion, with seats engineered for superior ride experience. Measuring 4,920 mm long, 1,920 mm wide, and 1,480 mm tall, with a wheelbase of 2,900 mm, the Yueyi 08 claims an impressive cabin space utilization rate of 89%. Its exterior features a closed-off front fascia and split “Starry Cascade” headlight clusters inspired by the Lushan Waterfall. The body is primarily finished in red, complemented by a fastback coupe silhouette, 21-inch sport wheels in a tri-color combination of black, silver, and gold, and semi-flush door handles. At the rear, the taillights echo the front lighting signature, featuring a full-width light bar above and vertical light strips below. Powertrain options include both all-electric and range-extended variants. The BEV version is powered by an electric motor delivering a maximum output of 202 kW.
