The first MPV model from Harmony Intelligent Mobility, the Zhijie V9, officially launched on May 15. Positioned as a panoramic intelligent flagship MPV, it is priced between RMB 389,800 and RMB 519,800 and will begin deliveries in early June. The vehicle is offered in four configurations: Max (RMB 389,800), Max+ (RMB 429,800), Ultra (RMB 459,800), and Ultra+ (RMB 519,800). The Zhijie V9 measures 5,359 mm in length, 2,009 mm in width, and 1,879 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,250 mm. It comes in four exterior colors—Luminous Purple, Snowfield White, Deep Sea Blue, and Gilded Black—and three interior color schemes—Velvet Violet, Shaohua Apricot, and Red Tea Orange. Built on Huawei’s Tuling MPV-customized platform, the vehicle features a front double-wishbone and rear H-arm multi-link suspension setup. Rear-wheel steering is standard across all trims, offering a maximum steering angle of ±7° and a minimum turning radius of just 5.35 meters. Inside the cabin, the Zhijie V9 is equipped with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, dual 17.2-inch central control screens, and a 21.4-inch ceiling-mounted screen. It supports full-vehicle NFC functionality—“Every Seat Can Tap”—and enables seamless information transfer via the MagLink Mini screen. The entire cabin is wrapped in 79 acoustic packages and features 11 pieces of laminated acoustic glass. The second-row smart privacy glass responds in ≤1 second and blocks ≥99.6% of light, working in tandem with independent audio zones to isolate over 90% of conversation content. In total, the vehicle has four smart privacy glass panels that support millisecond-level response and a one-touch privacy mode, which instantly disables location data, microphones, cameras, and network connections. Additionally, it is equipped with Huawei’s comprehensive active noise cancellation (RNC) system. The body structure adopts an “11-cross/6-longitudinal” layout, with high-strength steel, hot-stamped steel, and aluminum accounting for 91.6% of the total composition—including 25.1% submarine-grade hot-stamped steel. The second row features zero-gravity seats with mechanical massage and active side bolsters, mounted on 539-mm sliding rails. These seats support a 45° welcome position, 90° scenic viewing angle, and 180° rotation for face-to-face seating. The third row offers nearly 1 meter of headroom and legroom, with ±100 mm fore-aft adjustment; in extreme configurations, legroom expands to 1.29 meters. Both second- and third-row seats can be folded flat. The vehicle includes 52 storage compartments, a standard trunk capacity of 790 liters, a hidden 94-liter under-floor storage box, and a maximum expandable volume of 1,534 liters. All Zhijie V9 variants come standard with 38 sensors, making it the industry’s first MPV equipped with an 896-line LiDAR. It will be among the first vehicles to receive an upgrade to Huawei’s Qiankun ADS 5 intelligent driving system, expected to roll out between late June and early July. This system delivers 60 EFLOPS of cloud-based AI computing power, leverages the WEWA 2.0 architecture, and incorporates a six-layer redundancy safety mechanism, enabling intelligent scene recognition and autonomous execution of actions such as honking, flashing lights, and deceleration. The Zhijie V9 debuts Huawei’s Constant-Cool Smart Refrigerator, with a 10.9-liter capacity and dual-zone temperature control (–6°C to 15°C and 35°C to 50°C). Combined with phase-change cooling agents and a high-displacement 40cc compressor, it can cool from 32°C to 0°C in just 15 minutes and maintain cold temperatures for over 12 hours at 30°C ambient conditions without power. It also introduces the industry’s first onboard oxygen generator, delivering 8–10 liters of oxygen per minute. The audio system is the HUAWEI SOUND Ultimate series, featuring 35 high-performance speakers, peak output of 2,920W, and a unique 9.3.8 independent channel architecture. It includes eight overhead sky channels and eight headrest-mounted speakers, leveraging independent audio zone technology to deliver immersive 3D surround sound across all three rows. In manufacturing innovation, the Zhijie V9 is the world’s first vehicle to employ electromagnetic thermal-controlled die-casting technology, integrating 78 components into a single unit. This reduces weight by 15.5%, eliminates 760 weld points, and increases component yield strength by over 55%. All variants come standard with the MPV-specific Tuling platform and rear-wheel steering, supporting low-speed crab-walk mode, a wading depth of 500 mm, and a 100 km/h braking distance of just 35.8 meters. The vehicle also features road-preview capability and millisecond-level suspension adjustments, complemented by an MPV-tuned motion-sickness mitigation system that effectively filters vibrations and suppresses body sway. For safety, the Zhijie V9 includes 13 airbags spanning all three rows as standard, including full-wrap airbags, Pre-Crash seat rapid-return mechanisms, integrated seatbelts, and seat-cushion airbags. The third row is reinforced with a submarine-grade hot-stamped steel frame, dedicated side airbags, and curtain airbags. The battery pack employs a five-layer structural design to ensure “zero intrusion” of cells during collisions. In the event of a crash-induced power cutoff, it activates independent redundant modules, automatically lowers windows by 50 mm, and proactively connects to emergency services via eCall.
