On May 28, a group of suppliers specializing in key areas such as the "three electric" systems (battery, motor, and power electronics), intelligent cockpits, body and chassis, safety features, and interior/exterior components participated in an in-depth technical exchange event hosted by Jiangling Group. Organized by a third-party platform, the event aimed to establish precise connections between these suppliers and the R&D and procurement teams from Jiangling Group’s subsidiaries, including Jiangling New Energy, Jiangling Motors Corporation (JMC), Jiangxi Isuzu, and Jiangling Jingma. Each subsidiary under Jiangling Group has a clearly defined business focus: JMC serves both commercial and passenger vehicle markets; Jiangxi Isuzu specializes in pickup trucks and rugged SUVs; Jiangling Jingma focuses on buses and specialized vehicles; and Jiangling New Energy is dedicated to the R&D, production, and sales of battery electric vehicles (BEVs) and core components. Established in 2015, Jiangling New Energy obtained China’s dual NEV manufacturing licenses within two years and later became a Sino-foreign joint venture through an equity restructuring. Leveraging synergies across its diverse business segments, Jiangling Group has built a comprehensive industrial portfolio encompassing both conventional fuel-powered and new energy vehicles, as well as commercial and passenger vehicles. Building on this foundation, Jiangling New Energy has launched several models—including the Yichi series, E-Joy EV3, EV3 PLUS, EV2, and EV2 PLUS—and has begun mass exports to markets in Europe, Southeast Asia, and the Middle East. Right-hand-drive versions of these models are also in the定点 development phase. Currently, Jiangling New Energy has initiated a new EV project positioned as an industry benchmark for intelligent electric vehicles, with a strong emphasis on ultra-high energy efficiency, advanced intelligent cockpit systems, and exceptional safety standards. This project is seen as a pivotal step toward elevating the brand and executing its strategic upgrade. To ensure its successful implementation, Jiangling is deepening collaboration with its supply chain partners, integrating them into its vehicle development system through technical showcases and closed-door matchmaking sessions.
