He noted that if the company can play a constructive role in this process, it would be willing to participate. He also emphasized that defense-related business currently accounts for only a small fraction of the company’s overall operations compared to its core automotive business, but could potentially become a steadily growing niche market that contributes to the company’s performance. He added that he is taking a wait-and-see approach on the matter.
