The Harmony Intelligent Mobility's first MPV, the Luxeed V9, launched on May 18 and secured 10,500 firm orders within 48 hours. According to third-party data, within 72 hours of launch, dealerships averaged 20 new orders each, with showroom foot traffic rising 30% compared to the prior period, and MPV-intending customers accounting for 50% of all visitors. Orders primarily originated from the Yangtze River Delta, Pearl River Delta, and North China regions, with Shandong Province contributing the highest share. The model has attracted a significant number of enterprise users previously driving conventional fuel-powered MPVs, resulting in a high proportion of orders coming through user centers. Most display vehicles arrived at dealerships two days ahead of schedule, and test-drive units were prioritized for delivery to user centers. Weekend test-drive demand was particularly strong, significantly boosting conversion rates through enhanced in-store experiences. Buyers are predominantly aged 35 to 45 and are all upgrading or replacing existing vehicles. Notably, 55% of orders were placed under company names, mostly by local young entrepreneurs and executives who value the vehicle’s dual suitability for business and family use. These customers generally hold strong trust in the Huawei brand and tend to make purchasing decisions and place orders quickly. In terms of configurations, the Ultra+ trim (priced at RMB 519,800) accounts for 50% of orders, the Ultra trim (RMB 459,800) represents 35%, and the Max+ trim (RMB 429,800) makes up 15%. For exterior colors, Lustrous Black and Radiant Purple each account for 40%. Interior choices are dominated by Velvet Violet, representing 50% of selections. Sixty percent of buyers opted for the premium Zero-Gravity Seats package. Display vehicles were mostly finished in black, with customer feedback indicating that the actual vehicle appearance surpasses promotional images. The Shaohua Apricot color was chosen more frequently than Chicha Orange. Distinctive features such as rotating seats and wrap-around head airbag-integrated headrests have heightened model recognition, leading most test drivers to ultimately select Ultra or higher trims—further elevating the share of high-end configurations.
