The electric vehicle company founded by automotive designer Henrik Fisker has filed for bankruptcy, leaving behind approximately 12,000 Fisker Ocean SUVs. Following the bankruptcy, after-sales service was suspended, leaving owners struggling with repair and parts shortages. In response, around 4,000 owners spontaneously formed the Fisker Owners Association, an open-source community that develops technical solutions through reverse engineering, organizes group purchases of spare parts, and establishes a mobile repair network to keep their vehicles operational.
