The Dongfeng Yipai M8 will make its global debut on May 23 at 16:00, featuring Huawei’s latest Qiankun Smart Automotive Solution. This large six-seater SUV continues the brand’s “Simplicity is Ultimate Sophistication” design philosophy. Its front fascia integrates a full-width daytime running light with split headlights, while a roof-mounted LiDAR sensor, semi-recessed door handles, and multiple wheel options further define its styling. The rear features a full-width taillight assembly. Measuring 5,020 mm in length, 1,975 mm in width, and 1,733 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,025 mm, the M8 offers both BEV (battery electric vehicle) and range-extended variants. The range-extended version pairs a 90 kW net-output engine with a 215 kW peak-power electric motor, delivering a CLTC-rated range of 300 km. The pure electric variant features a 230 kW peak-power motor and achieves a CLTC range of 600 km.
