On the evening of May 20, Xiaomi Auto unveiled partial specifications for its upcoming YU7 GT model. The vehicle comes standard across all trims with four-seat massage functionality, featuring four-layer airbags, three levels of intensity adjustment, and six massage modes. It also includes a standard smart dimming panoramic roof with a maximum light-blocking rate of 99.85%, capable of blocking 99.9% of ultraviolet and infrared rays. Additionally, the YU7 GT features an “ultra-quiet” cabin, equipped with ultra-quiet PVB laminated glass for the front windshield, double-glazed front and rear doors, a noise-reducing PVB panoramic roof, and two acoustic laminated rear quarter windows. Over 30 critical areas have been upgraded with enhanced sound insulation materials. In terms of performance, the YU7 GT is powered by Xiaomi’s next-generation V8s EVO super motor, which reaches a peak rotational speed of 28,000 rpm. It incorporates a self-developed silicon carbide power module, delivering a 5.9% increase in power output compared to the previous generation, and utilizes 0.15mm ultra-thin silicon steel stator and rotor laminations, achieving an efficiency of 98.38%. For exterior and interior design, the new model offers multiple carbon fiber trim options, including side mirrors, headlight bezels, rear spoiler and ducktail, sport steering wheel, dashboard trim, door sill plates, and air vent surrounds. Customers can also opt for a 24K gold-plated carbon fiber emblem paired with a black body. The cabin features approximately 2.3 square meters of Alcantara upholstery. An optional 21-inch five-spoke dual-layer forged wheel is available, requiring 11 hours to manufacture.
