The 2026 FAW Hongqi H5 officially launched on May 20, offering five variants priced between RMB 121,000 and RMB 151,000. Specifically, the 1.5T Qi Yun Pro is priced at RMB 121,000, and the 1.5T Xuan Ying Pro at RMB 124,000; the 2.0T Qi Chang Pro costs RMB 141,000, the 2.0T Xuan Ying Pro RMB 144,000, and the top-tier 2.0T Qi Ling Pro RMB 151,000. The new model features refined exterior details: the daytime running lights have been relocated inside the chrome trim on the front fascia, while the lower split-type headlight clusters are enlarged. At the rear, redesigned taillight accents enhance the vehicle’s three-dimensional appearance. Powertrain options remain unchanged, with two combinations available: a 1.5T engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission and a 2.0T engine mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission. Inside, the cabin is equipped with a digital instrument cluster and a 15.6-inch central touchscreen. The infotainment system has been upgraded with the Qualcomm SA8155P automotive-grade chip. The intelligent driving assistance suite—Hongqi’s “Sinan Smart Driving” system—includes seven independent perception cameras, one millimeter-wave radar, and twelve ultrasonic sensors. Additional features include ventilated and heated front and rear seats, wireless smartphone charging, a HUD head-up display, and NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) highway assist functionality.
