SAIC Audi AUDI E7X Launches May 29 with Pre-sale Price Range of RMB 289,800–379,800

SAIC Audi’s all-new AUDI E7X will officially launch on May 29. Pre-sales began on May 8, with a pre-sale price range of RMB 289,800 to RMB 379,800. Available trims include the Pioneer (RMB 289,800), Pioneer Pro (RMB 319,800), Pioneer quattro (RMB 349,800), Pioneer Intelligent Long-Range Edition (RMB 349,800), and Flagship quattro (RMB 379,800). The vehicle measures 5,049 mm in length, 1,997 mm in width, and 1,710 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,060 mm. Its exterior features Audi’s pioneering Starlight Blade lighting design, supporting million-pixel DLP projection and eight dynamic light carpet effects. Six bespoke exterior colors are offered: Flowing Silver, Moonlight Black, Nebula Purple, Dawn Beige, Misty Blue, and Titanium Grey. In terms of powertrain and chassis, the upgraded quattro permanent all-wheel-drive intelligent system enables a 0–100 km/h acceleration time of just 3.90 seconds. The car is equipped with Brembo high-performance calipers, a rear-wheel steering system with ±14° bidirectional angle, progressive steering, a lightweight all-aluminum chassis, CDC damping system, air suspension with gimbal technology, and Pirelli rear tires measuring 285 mm—the widest in its class. For intelligent driving, the E7X integrates Momenta’s R7 reinforcement learning world model, enabling features such as intelligent ETC lane passage, three-point U-turns, navigation through extremely narrow roads, emergency avoidance for small animals entering blind spots, pedestrian-vehicle mixed traffic scenario handling, and highway ramp merging assistance. Inside the cabin, the E7X debuts globally the “Audi Smart Lounge.” Highlights include the BOSE Performance Zero-Gravity front passenger seat, cloud-comfort aviation-style seats, BOSE Performance premium audio system, and a 9.1.4.4 immersive surround sound layout. Powered by Audi Assistant 2.0—the industry’s first ultra-humanoid, generative, full-emotion voice interaction system—the cabin also features a 59-inch central touchscreen, a 21.4-inch QD Mini LED rear “starry sky” display, an intelligent four-season climate-controlled console box, gradient ambient lighting, a second-row central control screen, and a 96-LED RGB starry matrix ceiling. Regarding battery and charging, all variants come standard with CATL’s 109 kWh battery pack, delivering up to 751 km of CLTC-rated range. A 900V high-voltage platform is standard across the lineup, enabling up to 429 km of range replenishment in just 10 minutes of charging. Trim-specific configuration upgrades include: - The Pioneer trim receives limited-time complimentary upgrades worth over RMB 70,000, including Audi Panoramic Intelligent Driving Assistance, a 21.4-inch QD Mini LED rear display, smart dimming panoramic roof, and the ±14° rear-wheel steering system. - For an additional RMB 30,000 over the Pioneer trim, the Pioneer Pro adds equipment valued at RMB 75,000, including Continental air suspension, ZF CDC variable-damping shock absorbers, BOSE Performance premium audio, foldable ultra-HD electronic side mirrors, and the BOSE Performance Zero-Gravity front passenger seat. - Adding another RMB 30,000 to the Pioneer Pro price, the Pioneer quattro gains the quattro permanent all-wheel-drive intelligent system plus FeinNappa full-grain calf leather seats, million-pixel projection headlights, an upgraded Starlight Blade lighting suite, and power-operated doors throughout. - Similarly priced RMB 30,000 above the Pioneer Pro, the Pioneer Intelligent Long-Range Edition focuses on extended range and enhanced comfort, featuring the same luxury appointments and the 109 kWh battery to achieve the full 751 km CLTC range.
