On May 21, 2026, BYD officially launched the third-generation Yuan PLUS, with an official price range of RMB 119,900 to RMB 149,900. All variants come standard with BYD’s second-generation Blade Battery and flash charging technology, offering a CLTC-rated range of 540 km for the base model and up to 630 km for the high-end variant. Since its debut four years ago, the Yuan PLUS has achieved cumulative global sales exceeding 1.1 million units, reaching over 100 countries and regions. Leveraging cost advantages from economies of scale, BYD has maintained stable pricing while extending advanced technical features across the entire lineup. The second-generation Blade Battery incorporates high-speed lithium-ion channels and an all-temperature intelligent thermal management system, enabling a 5-minute charge to reach a usable level and a full charge in just 9 minutes under ambient temperatures. Even at minus 30 degrees Celsius, charging takes only three minutes longer than under normal conditions.
