GAC Group and Huawei Qiankun jointly announced that their premium intelligent new energy vehicle brand, "Qijing Auto," will officially open pre-orders for its debut model—the Qijing GT7—on May 29, revealing its pre-sale price. The vehicle is scheduled to launch and begin deliveries in June. As the first tangible outcome of the deep collaboration between the two companies, the project was internally codenamed "GH," initiated in January 2025, with the "Qijing" brand officially unveiled in September 2025, targeting the mid-to-high-end market segment priced above RMB 300,000. The Qijing GT7 is positioned as a mid-to-large intelligent shooting brake coupe, measuring 5,050 mm in length, 1,980 mm in width, and 1,470 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 3,000 mm. Its exterior features a shooting brake design language, equipped with the "Lingmou Headlamp" system, which includes HUAWEI XPIXEL million-pixel intelligent projection headlights and the world’s first waterfall-style ADS blue lighting strip, supporting three customizable lighting animations. At the rear, the "Qijing Wings" taillight assembly integrates 526 individual light sources and employs segmented diffuse reflection technology. The vehicle incorporates 14 aerodynamic optimizations and offers six body colors along with three custom paint finishes, all finished using an advanced 8-coat 3C2B painting process. Inside, the cabin centers around the HUAWEI SOUND AI interactive Star Ring diffuser, complemented by dual-spoke three-spoke steering wheels and a dynamic central island console, available in three interior color schemes. The cockpit is powered by the next-generation Harmony Space intelligent cockpit system, featuring the conversational AI assistant "Xiao Yi," which supports natural language understanding and multi-turn dialogue, enabling voice-controlled vehicle functions, encyclopedia queries, fuzzy location searches, and other complex commands. It also includes a 15.6-inch floating central touchscreen and an 88-inch AR-HUD. When the rear seats are folded down, they create a flat load floor spanning 1.9 meters, expanding the trunk capacity to a maximum of 1,606 liters, supplemented by a 215-liter front trunk and 37 additional storage compartments throughout the cabin. In terms of intelligent driving, the Qijing GT7 is equipped with Huawei Qiankun ADS 5, featuring hardware architecture pre-installed for Level 3 (L3) autonomous driving. The system integrates dual-path 896-line image-grade LiDARs, 11 high-definition cameras, five millimeter-wave radars, and 12 ultrasonic sensors, delivering a 400% improvement in perception resolution compared to conventional solutions. It can reliably detect small obstacles up to 120 meters away and significantly enhances perception capabilities in nighttime and rainy or foggy conditions. All eight core vehicle systems—perception, computing, power supply, steering, braking, communication, positioning, and HMI—are built with redundant designs. The vehicle has already received approval for L3-level autonomous driving road testing in Guangzhou. Powered by an 800V high-voltage platform, the Qijing GT7 is offered in both single-motor and triple-motor configurations, with the triple-motor variant accelerating from 0 to 100 km/h in just 2.98 seconds. The battery pack is co-developed by Qijing, Huawei, and CATL, available in two capacities: 86.111 kWh and 102.768 kWh. Under CLTC standards, these deliver ranges of 675/735/770 km and 800/860/900 km, respectively. The vehicle supports 6C ultra-fast charging, adding approximately 1 kilometer of range per second of charging. The suspension system features a front double-wishbone and rear H-arm multi-link setup, with all variants standard-equipped with closed dual-chamber air springs and continuously adjustable dampers.
