Volkswagen (Anhui) Co., Ltd. officially launched its second model—the JETTA-branded Volkswagen ID. UNYX—on May 23. The new vehicle is available in two trims: the Pure version priced at RMB 109,900 and the Pure SE version at RMB 119,900. It marks Volkswagen’s first all-electric model equipped with the CEA (China Electronic Architecture), an electronic and electrical architecture specifically developed for the Chinese market. All variants come standard with high-speed NOA (Navigate on Autopilot) driver-assistance functionality, supporting urban navigation pilot, parking-space-to-parking-space routing, zero-speed activation, intelligent recognition of access control gates, U-turns at U-shaped intersections, and narrow-road passing capabilities. A version equipped with LiDAR will be introduced in the second half of the year. Inside the cabin, the vehicle features a standard four-screen interactive system comprising a digital instrument cluster, a central infotainment display, a 27-inch AR-HUD, and a 12-inch passenger-side screen, all powered by MediaTek’s MT8676 chip. It also includes UWB-based smartphone digital key technology, enabling centimeter-level positioning accuracy. The vehicle measures 4,853 mm in length, 1,852 mm in width, and 1,566 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,826 mm. It is powered by an electric motor delivering a maximum output of 170 kW and uses Gotion High-Tech lithium iron phosphate (LFP) batteries, offering a CLTC-rated range of 558 kilometers.
