GAC Group recently held a joint brand and model launch event in Karachi, Pakistan, together with its local partner Lucky Motor Corporation (LMC), officially entering the Pakistani market and simultaneously unveiling its long-term "Pakistan Initiative" strategy. At the launch, GAC introduced four core new energy vehicle models at once: the HYPTEC HT, AION V, AION UT, and AION ES, targeting the premium flagship, family mobility, youth-oriented trendy, and practical sedan segments, respectively. To advance localized operations, GAC has launched its "In Pakistan, For Pakistan" strategy, establishing multiple brand showrooms across the three key cities of Karachi, Lahore, and Islamabad. The first MACCA showroom in Karachi opened on the day of the launch event. Additionally, GAC has deployed nearly 100 large-scale outdoor advertisements along major roads and transportation hubs in Pakistan’s principal cities. Over the next five years, GAC plans to roll out multiple new energy vehicle models tailored for right-hand-drive markets, including Pakistan. This market entry coincides with the 75th anniversary of China-Pakistan diplomatic relations. GAC stated it will leverage its comprehensive industrial ecosystem to deliver new energy vehicles and related services to local consumers, supporting the development of green mobility in South Asia.
