smart has announced that the all-new smart #6 and the smart #2 concept car will be showcased at Hall 6 of the Shenzhen World Exhibition & Convention Center (Bao'an) from May 29 to June 7, 2026. The brand launched pre-sales for the smart #6 EHD variant during the Beijing Auto Show in April 2026, with a starting pre-sale price of RMB 189,900. The vehicle is scheduled to officially launch on June 11, 2026, offering four trim levels. The smart #6 is the brand’s first luxury hatchback sedan developed specifically for the Chinese market and represents smart’s largest model to date. It features a 1.5T plug-in hybrid powertrain, delivering up to 285 km of pure electric range under CLTC conditions and a combined driving range of 1,810 km. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 6.7 seconds. Interior color options include Cadmium Yellow, Shadow Black, and Prairie Brown. The cabin features a dual-screen center console, a UFO-shaped floating retractable speaker, a Sennheiser Reference sound system arranged in a 7.1.4 layout, and Zero-Pressure integrated sport seats. Additionally, the vehicle is equipped with PixelTalk interactive lighting arrays comprising 10,666 millimeter-scale LED micro-dots and offers SPA-grade stress-relieving massage functionality. The cabin boasts an impressive interior space utilization ratio of 86%. Standard across all trims are a power liftback tailgate, 31 high-precision sensors (including LiDAR), highway and urban NSP navigation-assisted driving, Sentry Mode, a tire-blowout stability control system, and ZF’s closed-loop steering system—making its China debut on this model.
