Geely Galaxy has officially become the official broadcast partner of China Media Group (CMG) for the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and has secured exclusive title sponsorship of CCTV-5’s sports program “Feast of Football.” Launched during UEFA Euro 2004, “Feast of Football” is a football-themed entertainment show that has produced special episodes centered around major tournaments such as the FIFA World Cup and UEFA European Championship. During the 2006 FIFA World Cup in Germany, the program aired 30 episodes, integrating multiple segments and performance elements through a hybrid format combining studio broadcasts with live match coverage. The show previously won first prize in the Special Category at the China Association of Radio and Television’s Television Sports Program Awards. Earlier, on May 15, 2024, China Media Group and FIFA announced a new multi-year rights agreement covering the men's FIFA World Cups in 2026 and 2030, as well as the women's FIFA World Cups in 2027 and 2031. Under the agreement, CMG has secured exclusive multimedia broadcasting rights and sub-licensing rights for these tournaments across mainland China, encompassing free-to-air television, pay-TV, internet platforms, and mobile devices.
