On May 29, at the GT7 pre-sale launch event, GAC and Huawei's Qiankun jointly unveiled the second model of their premium new energy brand Qijing, naming it the Qijing GX7. This mid-to-large five-seater SUV belongs to the brand’s “7” series and shares the same design language as the GT7. It is expected to feature identical intelligent driving hardware, including an 896-line LiDAR. In the name "GX7," the "G" stands for "Grand," while the "X" symbolizes "Exploration," "Extreme," and "Expansion." Powertrain-wise, the GX7 is anticipated to adopt an 800V high-voltage platform, offering both a rear-wheel-drive single-motor and an all-wheel-drive triple-motor configuration. The vehicle is scheduled to debut later this year, with key competitors including the Tesla Model Y, Xiaomi YU7, and Li Auto i6—other prominent mid-to-large five-seater SUVs.
