On May 31, Xiaomi Auto released an official Q&A regarding its YU7 series models. All YU7 variants come standard with the "Soft Natural Breeze" air conditioning mode, which users can activate via the central touchscreen or by voice command using “Xiao Ai.” This feature dynamically adjusts airflow speed to minimize discomfort from direct blowing. The Horizon Screen’s lyric display function is only available when the vehicle is parked and requires all of the following conditions to be met simultaneously: the gear selector must be in Park (P), the driver’s seatbelt must be unbuckled, and the music app interface must be displayed in full-screen mode on the central screen. Currently, this feature supports QQ Music and NetEase Cloud Music. In terms of body structure, the entire YU7 lineup—including the base model up to the YU7 GT—features a “Cage-Style Armor” hybrid steel-aluminum body, with high-strength steel and aluminum accounting for 90.2% of the structure. The torsional rigidity measures 47,610 N·m/deg. All variants come standard with 2,200 MPa hot-stamped steel used for the integrated roll cage and side-impact beams on all four doors. The YU7 GT further includes a track-focused performance package and has been tuned on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, earning it the title of the fastest SUV ever recorded at the Nürburgring.
