On May 29, the new ONVO L60 was officially unveiled and opened for pre-orders at the Greater Bay Area Auto Show. The updated model features 106 enhancements, with display vehicles already rolled out to dealerships nationwide. Test drives will commence on June 6, and the official market launch is scheduled for June 11. In terms of intelligent driving, the vehicle is equipped with NIO’s self-developed 5nm automotive-grade chip—Shenji NX9031—alongside the NIO World Model (NWM) architecture, LiDAR, and the SkyOS TianShu full-vehicle operating system. It supports end-to-end urban navigation assistance, ETC highway toll passage, and autonomous entry/exit at battery swap stations. Real-world testing demonstrates strong performance in urban navigation, battery-swap station navigation, and navigation-free driving, characterized by stable vehicle control, precise lane selection, and robust decision-making capabilities in complex traffic scenarios. On safety, the new L60 has earned the China Insurance Automotive Safety Index (C-IASI)’s first-ever “All-Good” rating for a pure electric vehicle and has also secured dual five-star ratings from both C-NCAP and C-GCAP. For range and charging, the L60 offers two battery options—60 kWh and 85 kWh—with CLTC-rated ranges of 530 km, 560 km, 707 km, and 740 km, depending on configuration. Its energy consumption stands at 11.9 kWh per 100 km. Built on a 900V high-voltage architecture, the vehicle can charge from 10% to 80% in just 25 minutes and gains access to NIO’s extensive network of over 8,000 charging and battery swap stations. Regarding interior space, the L60 boasts a 2,950 mm wheelbase and 967 mm of legroom between front and rear seats. Interior highlights include a 17.3-inch 3K foldable ceiling-mounted entertainment screen, an 8-inch rear-seat scenario display, a 6L smart climate-controlled console box, a 52-liter refrigerator in the trunk, a sunroof shade, ultra-suede headliner, and ventilated/heated seats. Exterior design carries over from the current model but adds a roof-mounted LiDAR unit and replaces the previous “ONVO” badge with the new ONVO brand logo. The vehicle measures 4,828 mm long, 1,930 mm wide, and 1,616 mm tall. Powertrain options include a single-motor version (240 kW / 305 N·m) and a dual-motor variant (340 kW / 440 N·m). The vision-only version continues to use NVIDIA’s Orin-X chip, delivering 254 TOPS of computing power.
