The Roland Purple variant of the XPeng MONA L03—the first SUV in the MONA series—has been publicly revealed. The vehicle was listed in the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) registration catalog in April 2024 and features the same family design language as the MONA M03, adopting a dynamic fastback SUV silhouette. According to the MIIT filing, the L03 measures 4,650/4,672 mm in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,850 mm. It offers four curb weight options: 1,855 kg, 1,875 kg, 1,920 kg, and 1,942 kg. The top speed is rated at 180 km/h. The vehicle is equipped with a TZ200XY01D03X electric motor manufactured by Luxshare Precision Industry (Changshu) Co., Ltd., delivering a rated power of 70 kW and a peak power of 183 kW. It uses lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery packs supplied by CALB (China Aviation Lithium Battery). Tire options include 225/60R18 and 245/45R20 sizes. The L03 features a five-seat layout, with front/rear overhang dimensions available in two configurations: 890/910 mm and 897/925 mm. Exterior customization options include front logo, dual front-facing cameras, door badging, fender garnishes with integrated cameras, rear emblems, side-view mirror cameras, rear bumper-mounted rear-view camera, rear spoiler, side skirt trim, front and rear bumper accents, wheels, and brake calipers. The model is scheduled for an official launch within 2026.
