On June 1, Li Xiaolong, founder of Huawei’s Mate series, revealed on social media that his newly purchased vehicle is the Aito M6 Extended-Range Ultra top-trim model, noting this was the first time he had mentioned his new car—already fitted with official license plates. He added that the entire vehicle registration process required no personal involvement, as it was handled seamlessly by the Harmony Intelligent Mobility User Center through a one-stop service. Yu Chengdong, Huawei’s Executive Director, subsequently congratulated him and praised the convenience of this registration service. The Aito M6 was launched in April 2024, offering both extended-range and all-electric variants. The extended-range version starts at RMB 259,800, delivers over 300 km of pure electric range, and achieves a combined range of more than 1,600 km with a full tank and fully charged battery. The all-electric variant offers a CLTC-rated range exceeding 700 km. The vehicle features integrated front sport seats with heating, ventilation, and multi-mode massage functions. The rear seatbacks support wide-angle electric adjustment and also include heating and ventilation capabilities. Addressing the traditionally cumbersome aspects of car purchasing, the Aito M6 introduces an end-to-end delivery service covering vehicle selection, purchase, and registration. Customers receive their vehicles already registered and ready to drive, significantly simplifying and optimizing the entire ownership experience.
