BYD's personalized brand Fangcheng Bao unveiled a new product lineup called "Fangcheng" at the Beijing Auto Show on April 24, 2026. The lineup includes two series: "Fangcheng S" and "FORMULAX." "Fangcheng S" is positioned as an all-scenario, multi-body-style personalized sedan, comprising three variants: the standard three-box sedan "Fangcheng S," the shooting brake "Fangcheng SGT," and the larger three-box sedan "Fangcheng SL." These models are scheduled to launch in the third quarter of 2026. FORMULAX is a concept car representing Fangcheng Bao’s future production sports car, with over 80% fidelity to the final production version. It made its global debut at the auto show and is expected to hit the market in 2027. Fangcheng Bao stated that since its brand launch in 2023, it has established a dual-track product strategy focusing on both off-road vehicles and sports cars. Introducing sedans is a natural step toward completing its product portfolio and filling gaps in its category map—a move that also reflects the execution of its long-term strategic layout. The brand emphasized its user-centric approach, extending its strengths in aesthetic design, chassis tuning, and premium driving experiences into the sedan segment to offer differentiated mobility options.
