NIO delivered 37,705 vehicles in May 2026, representing a 62.3% year-over-year increase and a 28.4% month-over-month rise. Deliveries included 20,013 units under the NIO brand (up 50.8% YoY), 12,029 units under the Onvo brand (up 91.5% YoY and 124.8% MoM), and 5,663 units under the Firefly brand (up 53.9% YoY and 13.7% MoM). In the first five months of 2026, NIO delivered a total of 150,526 vehicles, an increase of 68.7% year-over-year, bringing its cumulative deliveries since inception to 1,148,118 units. May marked a period of intensive new product launches and deliveries for NIO: the 2026 Onvo L90 began deliveries on May 9; the Onvo L80 was launched and started deliveries on May 15; the NIO ES9 debuted and commenced deliveries on May 27; and the new Onvo L60 made its debut at the Greater Bay Area Auto Show on May 29, opening pre-orders with display vehicles progressively arriving at showrooms, ahead of its official launch scheduled for June 11. Additionally, a new version of the “NIO World Model (NWM)” will be rolled out comprehensively in June to users of Banyan, Cedar, and Cedar S.
