On May 29, Li Tao, Party Secretary of the School of Foreign Languages at Central South University (CSU), led a delegation of faculty representatives on a visit to Gasgoo Auto’s Shanghai headquarters for a tour and exchange event. Zhou Xiaoying, CEO of Gasgoo Auto and an alumna of CSU, warmly welcomed Secretary Li Tao and the delegation, accompanying them throughout the visit. The visiting delegation included CSU faculty members Shi Qingming, Bai Yun, Xiao Jian, Feng Bo, Yang Lirong, Wang Ping, Yu Hong, and Xiong Yanhui from the School of Foreign Languages, as well as Sun Taifeng and Liu Yi, representatives of the CSU Shanghai Alumni Association. During the exchange, Zhou Xiaoying introduced Gasgoo Auto’s development in automotive industry media, industrial research, industry networking, and global services. She emphasized that as the automotive industry evolves toward intelligentization, electrification, and globalization, demand is growing rapidly for international communication capabilities, cross-cultural communication skills, and multidisciplinary talent. Secretary Li Tao expressed appreciation for Gasgoo Auto’s achievements and proposed deepening university-enterprise collaboration in areas such as talent cultivation, internships and practical training, international communication, and industrial research. Both sides also engaged in in-depth discussions on topics including global trends in the automotive industry, building international communication capabilities, cultivating multidisciplinary talent, and alumni development. Zhou Xiaoying affirmed her commitment to strengthening ties with her alma mater and advancing university-enterprise cooperation and alumni engagement. Following the exchange, both parties shared a dinner together, further enhancing their interaction in a warm and cordial atmosphere.
