Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA, arrived in Seoul on Thursday evening to hold talks with leaders of several major South Korean corporations, focusing on collaboration in artificial intelligence (AI) and robotics. The meetings began on Friday, with confirmed attendees including Chey Tae-won, Chairman of SK Group; Koo Kwang-mo, Chairman of LG Group; and Lee Hae-jin, Founder and Chairman of Naver. Chung Eui-sun, Executive Chairman of Hyundai Motor Group, may also participate. Discussions cover multiple areas, including AI semiconductors, robotics, and "physical AI." Samsung Electronics Chairman Lee Jae-yong will not attend due to overseas commitments. Additionally, Naver is coordinating with NVIDIA to arrange Huang’s visit to its second headquarters building next Monday—a site previously visited by AMD Chairperson Lisa Su, who signed an AI infrastructure cooperation agreement there.
