Dongfeng Fengxing has released its sales figures for January to May 2026, reporting a 67% year-over-year increase. The 2027 Fengxing Star V9 is scheduled to officially launch on June 7, featuring over 20 configuration upgrades, including a 5L dual-zone (cooling/heating) in-car refrigerator, an 8295P cockpit chip, integration with AI large language models from Wenxin Yiyan and DeepSeek, and a 15.6-inch passenger-side display. The new model is expected to see further price reductions. The current 2026 Star V9 is offered in 13 variants, priced between RMB 179,900 and RMB 359,900. As a mid-to-large-size MPV, it measures 5,230 mm (or 5,248 mm) in length, 1,920 mm in width, and 1,820 mm (or 1,950 mm) in height, with a wheelbase of 3,018 mm. Exterior highlights include a front fascia adorned with multiple horizontal chrome bars across the grille, split-type headlights, and four vertical LED light strips. The rear features a full-width taillight design. Powering the vehicle is a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system, delivering a pure electric range of 200 km under CLTC conditions and a combined range of up to 1,300 km.
