Li Auto Delivers 33,350 Vehicles in May; i6 Ranks Top 3 Among All-Electric SUVs, New L9 Begins Deliveries

Li Auto delivered 33,350 new vehicles in May 2026, a 2.2% decrease compared to April. As of May 31, the company’s cumulative deliveries reached 1,702,792 units. In the new energy vehicle (NEV) market priced above RMB 200,000, Li Auto reclaimed the top spot among Chinese brands by sales volume. Notably, its all-electric SUV, the Li Auto i6, has exceeded 20,000 units in monthly deliveries for three consecutive months, consistently ranking among the top three best-selling all-electric SUVs. On May 15, the all-new Li Auto L9 was officially launched, offered in Ultra and Livis trims, with deliveries commencing on May 17. The new Li Auto L9 Livis trim secured over 10,000 firm orders within two weeks of its launch and is expected to capture a 20% market share in the NEV SUV segment priced above RMB 500,000. In June, Li Auto plans to host a dedicated technology event, focusing on core technologies such as in-car infotainment interaction, foundational AI models, and advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS). The company will also unveil the all-new Li Auto L8 by the end of the month. As of May 31, Li Auto operated 498 retail centers and 543 after-sales service and authorized repair centers across China, covering 160 and 222 cities respectively. Additionally, the company has deployed 4,088 Li Super Charging stations nationwide, equipped with 2,563 charging piles.
