Spy photos of the new Zhiji EHX SUV have recently surfaced, with an expected launch in 2026. Although the test vehicle is wrapped in camouflage, it clearly shares the same body structure as the existing Zhiji R7. The EHX features a long hood and a steeply raked fastback rear end, with a sharply inclined windshield and a front fascia equipped with horizontally arranged split headlights. The side profile showcases smooth, downward-sweeping lines, frameless doors, semi-recessed door handles, and narrowing window contours. The D-pillar drops sharply to seamlessly blend into the rear, giving the vehicle a crossover coupe-SUV silhouette. At the rear, a small upturned spoiler sits above a horizontally spanning full-width taillight. The vehicle is currently undergoing winter calibration of its MCU functional software by the powertrain division, suggesting it will be equipped with an all-new electric drive system potentially outperforming the current Zhiji R7. For reference, the dual-motor version of the Zhiji R7 delivers a combined peak output of 365 kW. The EHX is expected to be similar in size to the Xiaomi YU7, which measures 4,999 mm in length, 1,996 mm in width, and 1,600 mm in height, with a 3,000 mm wheelbase—indicating that the Zhiji EHX may be positioned above the R7 in the brand’s lineup.
